Conector Set #505 for Autostar/Audiostar Telescopes

Connect your Autostar controller to your PC, or share information between two Autostars. For use with the Meade #497 Autostar or Audiostar controllers, this connector cable set provides access to three Autostar operations:

• Telescope Control: Use a personal computer (PC) to directly control a Meade Autostar/Audiostar-compatible telescope through the use of an astronomical software program with telescope control capabilities Software.
  
• Download from a PC: Download a new version of the Autostar software or object information (e.g., new satellite orbital parameters) from Autostar Downloads page through a PC to Autostar.
  
• Download and Clone from Autostar: Transfer user-defined object information or new Autostar software from one Autostar Computer Controller to another.
  Set consists of:
  A 3-foot, 4-pin to 4-pin cable (for connecting two Autostars)
  A 6-foot, 4-pin to 6-pin cable
  A 6-pin to RS-232 serial interface adapter. If your computer is only equiped with USB ports, you will need to buy a RS-232/USB Adapter Mod. ME07507.
  NOTE: This cable set works with the #497 Autostar and Audiostar controllers only.
